Tyson Foods and nine other poultry firms settle a wage-suppression lawsuit for $180 million.

Tyson Foods and nine other poultry processors have agreed to a $180 million settlement to resolve a 2019 lawsuit alleging a conspiracy to suppress worker wages. Tyson and its subsidiary Keystone Foods will pay $115.5 million, the largest share, while other companies like Allen Harim and Amick Farms will pay smaller amounts. The settlement is pending judge approval and is set to be finalized by August 5, 2024. The companies deny wrongdoing but agreed to settle.
