South Korea's business sentiment hits 4-year low amid political uncertainties and economic concerns.

South Korea's business sentiment has hit its lowest point in over four years, falling to 87 in December, due to political uncertainties following President Yoon Suk Yeol's brief imposition of martial law and concerns over economic growth. The Composite Business Sentiment Index reflects pessimism among both manufacturers and non-manufacturers, with a reading below 100 indicating more pessimists than optimists. The economic sentiment index also dropped to 83.1, amid weak domestic demand and exports, with growth for next year forecast to fall below 2%.
