Sewage flood from a burst pipe closed part of the M8 near Glasgow, reopening by 4:45 pm.
A section of the M8 motorway near Braehead Shopping Centre in Glasgow was closed after a burst sewer pipe caused sewage flooding on the westbound off-slip at junction 25A around 8:30 am. Scottish Water worked to clear the spill and reopen the road by 4:45 pm, apologizing for the inconvenience. The utility company plans to repair the burst main with Amey Highways.
