A 50-year-old pilot, Nicholas Denison-Pender from Perthshire, died on December 23 when his light aircraft crashed near Fife Airport, Kinglassie, shortly after takeoff. Police Scotland and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch are investigating the incident, requesting witnesses to come forward. Denison-Pender, who was the chief operating officer at SDB Automotive, was known for his passion for flying and outdoor activities.
