Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who passed away on December 26, 2024, lived in a renovated Type-VIII bungalow on Motilal Nehru Road in Lutyens' Delhi for over ten years. Previously occupied by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, the property, equipped with SPG protection, featured 40 mature trees and was home to numerous bird and mammal species. The Central government has declared a seven-day mourning period.
