In the October to December 2024 period, Whitecourt and Woodlands County saw the renaming of fire training grounds to honor Bruce Parrent, improved municipal relations, a significant drug seizure by RCMP, and a new pet ownership bylaw. Whitecourt received $1.5 million for a fireguard project, and the RCMP will begin using body cameras.
