Voltalia begins construction on three solar plants in France, aiming to power over 18,000 homes.

French renewable energy firm Voltalia has started building three new solar power plants in southern France, with a total capacity of 25.1 megawatts. These projects are expected to meet the annual electricity needs of over 18,000 people and prevent 7,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Voltalia currently operates or constructs facilities totaling 461 megawatts in France and aims to develop over two gigawatts more in the future.
