Toronto police are searching for Byron Johnson, a 36-year-old man, wanted for assault and robbery on Christmas Eve. Johnson allegedly choked a woman in the Queen St. W.-University Ave. area and later threatened an employee with a hammer and stole from a business on Yonge St.-Wellesley St. E. He is described as 6'0", 200 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black jacket, white hooded sweater, khaki pants, and white shoes. Police advise not to approach him and to call 911.
