A man sues Johnson & Johnson for $25M, claiming his wife's mesothelioma from their talcum powder led to her death.

A North Yarmouth man is suing Johnson & Johnson for $25 million, alleging that his wife's mesothelioma and subsequent death were caused by asbestos in the company's talcum powder. This lawsuit follows a Connecticut man winning a $15 million judgment for similar claims. Over 57,000 cancer lawsuits are pending against the company. Johnson & Johnson denies liability and has switched to cornstarch-based powder, discontinuing talc-based products globally in 2023.
