Ghana's VP receives Christmas visit from sponsored girl who successfully underwent leg surgery after leprosy.
Ghana's Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, received a Christmas visit from four-year-old Priscilla, a girl he sponsored for leg surgery in Italy after she was diagnosed with leprosy. Priscilla, who had an amputated leg, successfully underwent treatment and can now walk. Bawumia, a patron of Lepers Aid Ghana, funded her trip and medical costs, and celebrated the successful outcome as the best Christmas gift.
