This Christmas, many British Antarctic Survey employees, including Aoife McKenna, are spending the holidays in Antarctica. McKenna is managing a museum on Goudier Island, hosting visitors, and counting penguins. Derren Fox is also counting penguins at Signy Island, while Captain Will Whatley oversees the RRS Sir David Attenborough. Despite being far from home, these workers celebrate with traditional meals and activities like building snowmen.
