Duluth's Lake Superior Zoo introduces two caribou, Jingle and Snowflake, to raise awareness on conservation.

The Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth has introduced two woodland caribou, Jingle and Snowflake, to boost conservation efforts. The semi-domesticated reindeer, on loan from Minnesota's Hemker Park, help highlight the decline of caribou due to predation, disease, and habitat loss. The zoo is planning new deer yards and a log cabin viewing area for spring to enhance visitor interaction with the animals.
