Clop ransomware group hacks 66 companies via Cleo Software flaw, starts naming targets online.

The Clop ransomware group has admitted to hacking at least 66 companies by exploiting a flaw in Cleo Software’s file transfer tools. They have begun releasing the names of some affected companies on the dark web, aiming to extort ransom payments. Clop has a history of targeting file transfer software, previously striking Accellion, GoAnywhere, and MOVEit. Cleo has since issued a patch for the vulnerability.
