China extends anti-dumping probe on EU brandy, raising import costs until April 2025.

China has extended its anti-dumping investigation into EU brandy imports by three months, until April 5, 2025, due to the investigation's complexity. Launched in January, the probe has prompted China to impose temporary measures, including a 40% security deposit on EU brandy imports, making it more costly to bring EU brandy into the country. The EU has taken this issue to the World Trade Organization.
