California Highway Patrol (CHP) and local agencies conducted a one-day operation targeting organized retail crime, leading to 117 arrests and the recovery of over $38,000 in stolen items, including clothing, shoes, and fragrances. The operation also seized two illegal firearms and three stolen vehicles. Since 2019, the CHP has been involved in over 3,200 investigations, resulting in more than 3,500 arrests and the recovery of nearly 1.3 million stolen goods valued at $51.3 million.
