Myanmar's largest crocodile farm in Yangon, closed since the pandemic, has reopened to visitors after renovations focused on safety. Established in 1978 and opened to the public in 1997, the Thakayta Crocodile Farm is unique in Myanmar as it is run by the government for conservation. It houses 631 saltwater crocodiles, a species nearing extinction.
