Julian Assange, recently released from prison, celebrates Christmas with a peaceful message and photo with his family.

Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder, celebrated his first Christmas since his release from prison with a photo posted by his wife, Stella, showing him holding a lamb, wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas" and "a steadfast push for peace and dignity for all." Assange was freed in June after pleading guilty to a single charge in the US, with 17 other espionage charges dropped. He spent five years in Belmarsh Prison, much of it in solitary confinement, before moving to Australia with his family.
