Buffalo man charged with manslaughter after alcohol-fueled crash killed passenger.
A 28-year-old Buffalo man, Alexander Kozak, is charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide after a July crash that killed his 30-year-old passenger, Sommer Lynn Toth.
Kozak allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol at high speeds, crashing into a tree.
He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted of the highest charge and has been released on a $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
