Gene Spector, an American citizen of Russian origin, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison by a Moscow court for espionage, adding to his existing 3.5-year sentence for bribery. Spector was previously convicted for facilitating bribes to an aide of former Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich. The espionage case details remain undisclosed. Spector, who was born in Russia and later moved to the U.S., was also fined 14 million rubles.
