Vietnam's Deputy PM visited Hanoi churches on Christmas Eve, promoting government support for Christianity.

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited religious organizations in Hanoi on Christmas Eve to extend holiday greetings and highlight governmental support for Christianity, including the opening of the Vatican's representative office in Hanoi. Religious leaders expressed gratitude and commitment to social contributions and following government policies. In Ho Chi Minh City, Politburo member Do Van Chien also wished Catholic leaders a peaceful Christmas, encouraging continued cooperation and unity.
