The UN report reveals that the Wharf Jeremie gang killed at least 207 people, mostly elderly and Vodou leaders, in Haiti's Cite Soleil. The attacks were triggered after the gang leader's child fell ill, blaming locals for using Vodou. Since January, over 5,300 people have been killed in Haiti, and more than 12,000 since 2022, highlighting the severe gang violence and humanitarian crisis.
