Swimming ban lifted at most Hobart beaches after Cadbury leak contaminated River Derwent.

The swimming ban in Hobart's River Derwent has been lifted at most beaches after a sewage leak caused by Cadbury's chocolate factory sending unauthorized waste to the local treatment plant. The contaminated water led to the closure last week, but tests now show it's safe to swim except at one beach in Bellerive. Two investigations by TasWater and the EPA are ongoing.
