Man sells perfectly spherical egg for $250, raising $6,250 for charity in Oxfordshire.
An almost perfectly spherical egg, initially bought from a Scottish supermarket and auctioned for $187, was later sold for $250 in a fundraising auction. The egg was purchased by Ed Pownell, who admitted to making the impulsive buy after a few drinks, and later donated it to the Iuventas Foundation, raising a total of $6,250 to support young people in Oxfordshire.
