Kazuki Yao retires as voice of Franky in "One Piece," with Subaru Kimura taking over the role.

Kazuki Yao, the longtime voice actor for Franky in "One Piece," announced his retirement due to health issues. At Jump Festa 2025, it was revealed that Subaru Kimura will take over the role. Kimura, known for his work in "Jujutsu Kaisen" and "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," is expected to debut as Franky when "One Piece" returns on April 6, 2025. Creator Eiichiro Oda paid tribute to Yao in the latest manga chapter.
