Ford's investigation into the Focus recall closes after addressing canister valve issues linked to crashes.

Government regulators have closed an investigation into Ford Focus recalls after finding that Ford has addressed issues with the canister purge valve and related software. After receiving 98 consumer complaints in 2023, Ford offered a program to replace the faulty valve, satisfying the regulators and closing the investigation.
