Federal court places Health Workers Union under admin due to financial misconduct allegations.

The Federal Court has placed the Health Workers Union (HWU) under temporary administration amid allegations of financial misconduct. Union boss Diana Asmar is accused of falsely claiming over $120,000 in expenses, leading to her restricted duties. The Health Services Union (HSU), HWU's parent body, seeks to install administrators due to alleged dysfunction. Former National Union of Workers general secretary Charlie Donnelly serves as interim administrator. The case returns to court in April.
