Two attempted home invasions in Westport and Darien, CT, were thwarted early morning as intruders fled.

On December 20th, two attempted home invasions occurred in Westport and Darien, Connecticut, around 3:50 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., respectively. In both incidents, intruders were chased away without successful theft. Local police have advised residents to increase home security measures, such as locking doors, installing deadbolts, security cameras, and motion-detecting lights, using indoor light timers, avoiding sharing travel plans on social media, and keeping an eye on neighbors' properties.
