Indian new-age startup founders saw a 26.9% drop in average annual salaries in FY24, totaling Rs 283.5 crore. FirstCry's Supam Maheshwari received the highest salary at Rs 103.8 crore, down 50% from FY23. Zerodha's co-founders Nikhil and Nithin Kamath each earned Rs 33.8 crore, a decrease from Rs 48 crore the previous year. Some founders saw increases, such as Paytm's Vijay Shekhar Sharma, whose salary rose 10% to Rs 4.4 crore.
