Brunei's Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) thwarted an international drug syndicate's plan to use the country as a transit hub, marking the largest drug seizure in Brunei's history with 36.73 kg of methamphetamine intercepted. The syndicate, believed to be operating from the Americas, concealed the drugs within speakers and computers. NCB has sought international support, including from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, to apprehend those involved.
