A 20-year-old Sydney man allegedly hid in a wheelie bin to evade arrest after a police chase initiated by a random breath test. The chase began on Darcy Avenue in Moore Park around 9:15 pm Friday, when the driver fled after initially stopping on Epsom Road in Zetland. He was later arrested and charged with reckless driving, failing to stop for police, driving while disqualified, and speeding over 45 km/h. Denied bail, he is set to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
