South Dakota's Attorney General ruled that a shooting by Yankton police officers on December 5th was justified.
The officers shot Andrew Jondahl, 40, who was intoxicated and holding two shotguns in the Yankton High School parking lot, after he refused to comply with commands.
Jondahl was hit four times with non-life-threatening injuries and has a blood alcohol content of 0.152%.
Charges are pending against him.
This is the fifth officer-involved shooting in South Dakota this year.
