"Kim's Convenience," a play about a family facing gentrification, returns to Toronto and plans a U.S. tour.

The play "Kim's Convenience," which inspired the CBC TV series, returns to Toronto's Soulpepper Theatre at the end of January, nearly 15 years after its debut. Playwright Ins Choi will reprise his role as Appa, whose family's convenience store faces gentrification. Running from January 30 to March 2, tickets are now available. The production will also launch a North American tour, with a fall date set for San Francisco's American Conservatory.
