Beijing introduces student bus service to alleviate school traffic, part of their public complaint response initiative.

Beijing has launched a new student bus service to ease traffic and parking issues around schools during rush hours. This initiative is part of their "swift response to public complaints" program, which uses a unified hotline (12345) for urban issues. The hotline, operational 24/7 with over 1,700 staff, has processed about 150 million complaints since 2019, with a 97% satisfaction rate. Beijing also uses big data to identify key concerns, launching targeted projects and policies to address them.
