18-year-old narrowly escapes injury as his car is struck by an Amtrak train in Quincy.

An 18-year-old Quincy resident, Rogelio Bryan Ramirez, narrowly escaped injury when his car was hit by an Amtrak train on Wednesday night. Ramirez attempted to cross railroad tracks on Road J.7-Northwest ahead of the train. The train struck the driver's side rear of his vehicle, but neither Ramirez nor the train's passengers were injured. The train continued its route after a brief stop to check safety. Ramirez was not cited for the incident.
