U.S. natural gas storage fell by 125 billion cubic feet, yet remains above last year's levels.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a 125 billion cubic feet decrease in natural gas storage for the week ending December 13, 2024.
Despite this drop, total working gas storage is 0.6% higher than last year and 3.8% above the five-year average.
The decrease was primarily in the East, Midwest, and Mountain regions.
