US court sentences Nigerian Oluwole Adegboruwa to 30 years for selling $9M in oxycodone online.
A US court has sentenced Oluwole Adegboruwa, a US-based Nigerian, and his accomplice Enrique Isong to 40 years in prison for orchestrating the sale and distribution of oxycodone pills through the dark web.
Adegboruwa led the operation, selling over 300,000 pills from 2016 to 2019 and earning about $9 million.
He was sentenced to 30 years and ordered to forfeit $20 million, while Isong received a 10-year sentence.
