UK health regulator deems Doncaster's Virtual Slimming Clinic "inadequate" due to safety and ethical violations.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found Doncaster's Elements Medical, operating as The Virtual Slimming Clinic, to be "inadequate" in all inspected areas, deeming it unsafe, ineffective, and poorly led. Concerns include secretly filming patients without consent, using unlicensed Turkish medicines, and safety issues like obstructed fire exits and a non-functional defibrillator. The clinic has accepted the findings and will work with the CQC to improve.
