Two teens, aged 15 and 16, arrested for breaking into a store, stealing cigarettes, and fleeing on a moped.

Two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were arrested for allegedly smashing a store window in Parakai, west of Auckland, and stealing cigarettes. They fled on a moped but were tracked by a police helicopter and surrendered to officers. Acting Inspector Roger Small thanked the public for alerting authorities and encouraged reporting suspicious activities. The suspects will appear in Waitākere Youth Court on burglary charges.
