Two Singapore firms are fined nearly $10 million for rigging bids on non-residential projects.
Two Singaporean construction firms, Flex Connect and Tarkus Interiors, have been fined nearly $10 million for rigging bids over five years.
They colluded to control 12 tender bids worth over $34 million for non-residential projects, including offices and retail spaces.
This is the largest penalty for bid-rigging issued by the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS).
No government projects were affected.
