Eight individuals in Malaysia pleaded not guilty in the Syariah High Court to charges of making false claims related to the Tuhan Harun sect, including declaring themselves as 'god clones' and posting similar claims on Telegram.
The charges carry a maximum fine of RM5,000, up to three years in prison, or both.
The accused were granted bail, and the case is set for mention on December 23.
