TeraPlast Bistrita buys Hungarian pipe maker Wavin's assets for €7 million, aiming to expand in Europe.

TeraPlast Bistrita, a Romanian building materials company, acquired Hungarian firm Wavin's PVC and PE pipe production assets for €7 million through its subsidiary Polytech Kft. The deal includes production facilities capable of making 12,000 tons of pipes annually and aims to boost TeraPlast's market position in Romania and Hungary, while expanding its reach into Western European markets.
