SoftwareOne acquires Crayon Group for $1.4 billion, expanding tech reach and revenue.

SoftwareOne, a Swiss tech firm, has agreed to acquire Norway's Crayon Group in a $1.4 billion stock and cash deal. The combined company will have $1.8 billion in revenue, operate in over 70 countries, and employ around 13,000 people. About 70% of their revenue comes from Microsoft business. The acquisition aims to boost growth and profitability through cost savings and synergies. SoftwareOne will offer Crayon shareholders 172.50 Norwegian crowns per share, a 36% premium.
