Pakistan and Bangladesh agree to boost trade and cultural ties, discussing historical issues and health cooperation.
During the D-8 Summit in Cairo, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in trade, cultural exchanges, and other areas of mutual interest. They emphasized the importance of people-to-people contacts and historical ties. Yunus urged Pakistan to address issues from 1971 to improve relations. Both leaders also discussed cooperation in dengue management and the sugar industry.
