NH man pleads guilty to fraudulently obtaining $118K in welfare benefits over four years.

Ryan Leblanc, a 37-year-old from Franklin, New Hampshire, pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining over $118,000 in welfare benefits by falsely claiming the mother of his children was absent. He applied for SNAP and childcare benefits from March 2019 to December 2023, underreporting his income. Leblanc faces up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000 at his sentencing on March 31, 2025.
