Abdul Jalil Mohamed Abdel Sadek sentenced to six years for torturing and severely injuring a woman in a home invasion.

Abdul Jalil Mohamed Abdel Sadek, 21, was sentenced to six years in jail for a violent home invasion in Margate, north of Brisbane, where he and an accomplice assaulted and tortured a woman, causing severe injuries including seven head lacerations requiring 137 stitches. The victim pretended to be dead to end the attack. Sadek had a history of substance abuse and pleaded guilty to torture and grievous bodily harm, with parole eligibility in July 2026.
