A small plane crash on Interstate 684 in Harrison, New York, on December 12 around 7 p.m. resulted in one fatality and one injury. The crash occurred approximately 25 miles northeast of Manhattan in Westchester County. The highway was closed, and a video showed the damaged plane against a guardrail, with emergency vehicles blocking traffic. Governor Kathy Hochul expressed her condolences and noted that the Department of Environmental Conservation was on site to clean up spilled aviation fuel.
