President Biden commuted the sentence of former Huntsville doctor Shelinder Aggarwal, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for fraud and illegally prescribing controlled substances. Aggarwal, known as the nation's highest Medicare prescriber of opioids, is among nearly 1,500 whose sentences were reduced in the largest single-day act of clemency in modern history.
