A man from Galway failed to overturn his conviction for sexually abusing three of his wife's siblings.
A man from Galway, convicted of sexually abusing three of his wife's siblings when they were children, failed to overturn his conviction in a recent Court of Appeal. The man argued that the jury's verdict was "perverse" due to inconsistencies in the evidence, but Ms Justice Tara Burns dismissed the appeal, stating that the high threshold for such a claim was not met. He was sentenced to 23 months in prison.
