Indian court gives Yasin Malik and others two weeks to respond on moving their terror trial to Delhi.

The Supreme Court of India has given Yasin Malik and five others two weeks to respond to the CBI's request to transfer their terror trial cases from Jammu to New Delhi. The accused include Malik, leader of the banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, who is implicated in the 1990 killing of four Indian Air Force personnel and the abduction of Rubaiya Sayeed. The court has scheduled a further hearing on January 20, 2025, to consider the CBI's concerns over national security and better witness protection.
