Google buys wind power from Dutch Zeevonk project, supporting its decarbonization goals.

Google has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners for 250 MW of wind power from the Zeevonk project in the Netherlands. Zeevonk, a joint venture with Vattenfall, combines a 2 GW offshore wind farm, a 50 MW floating solar farm, and a green hydrogen plant. The project, aiming to be operational by 2029, supports Google's decarbonization goals and will power its Dutch operations.
